Editorial Background & Founding Story

A Disciplined Force Built to Protect & Serve Kerala

White Guard Volunteers (WG) is a volunteer organization associated with the Muslim Youth League – IUML Kerala State Committee. Volunteers participate in disaster response, rescue operations, humanitarian assistance and social service across Kerala.

Formed during times of unprecedented ecological catastrophe, White Guard emerged not as a ceremonial formation, but as an operational lifeline. Operating across all 14 districts of Kerala, our volunteers are rigorously drilled, psychologically equipped, and deeply rooted in every local community to react within minutes of any crisis.

Whether navigating floodwaters, digging through landslide mud in the highlands, delivering life-saving emergency medicine, or maintaining public order during major humanitarian congregations, White Guard volunteers stand as Kerala’s dependable frontline shield.
